Okay, the way the Blender for Dummies book is set up, they tell you how to begin to model then continue on with basics of other options. I went ahead too quickly, I think, without getting the hang of modeling itself, and quickly broke my brain.
So, it's time to step back and use what I learned to see if I can create some regular models. After I find the bottle of Tylenol.

My name is DanielSan. On this LiveJournal, I plan on putting the running history of my work in Blender, to chronicle my progress from a rank newbie ("It's a skyscraper!") to, hopefully, a working knowledge of everything that Blender can do. With my "Blender for Dummies" book in hand, I now begin the process of learning an actual 3D modeling and animation program.
